"let Christmas enter our hearts"

As I woke up early in the morning….upon opening our door, a cold wind embraced me. I was astonished by the wind, felt it so hard. Then I told myself, Christmas is approaching.

Months, weeks and days have passed and now, we are again at the last month of the year- the month of December. And December, we all know its Christmas day. Christmas . . . What is really is it?

When we say Christmas to a six year old child, the first thing she would say is to eat. So in short to celebrate, to have a party, and to have fun. In our culture, we usually celebrate Christmas; we eat at 12:00 and this is what we call NOCHE BUENA. We always have this so called SIMBANG GABI. We can see children caroling everywhere . . . . . Every house is full of décor, bright and beautiful.

These things are the common things we usually do during Christmas. But what matters most is the
LOVE.
Christmas is all about love. When we love, we give and we share. Through this we can feel happiness. And that is the true essence of Christmas. In our own simple ways, we can express our love to anyone. Not the presence of material things that makes a person happy but the point there is you remember him . . . . . . you’ve shared him something.

The true essence of Christmas it should not only be seen during this month. But we should give this whatever month is it. We can share this everyday; we can as long as we wanted. Always remember that Christmas is all about
LOVING, GIVING, and SHARING. Let’s make everyday Christmas. . . let Christmas enter our hearts forever. .

"PAGPAPATIBAY NG PAGKATAONG PILIPINO TUGON SA HAMON NG PANAHON"

Every November of the month, we always celebrate the values month. And this time our theme is all about “PAGPAPATIBAY NG PAGKATAONG PILIPINO TUGON SA HAMON NG PANAHON.” Reading this quote is simple but as we go deeper into the meaning it really speaks a lot.
Filipinos are known to be hospitable. But that’s not the only thing that we can be proud of. Our country is also reach in natural resources that contribute a lot in uplifting the name of our country…..PHILIPPINES. We are also reigning when it comes to sports… our very own Manny Pacquiao, boxing champ. He has defeated many other men in different countries. Together with him, we are at the top but still we remain to be humble.
For the past months we have suffered because of the occurrence different calamities. Especially, the continuous existence of storms that contributed a lot of destruction of some homes and other properties. But still we continued to be strong and brave. We still fight despite of our sufferings.
Every one of us helped one another. We became one big nation in surpassing this dilemma. And now, we are here to continue our lives despite of the destruction it brought. We survived because of our unity….. We remained to be strong, and that’s how Filipinos are…. We are brave to face any challenges that come along. And so.. let’s be proud of ourselves.
MABUHAY!!! =)
